vampire!Gilbert trying to keep in control of his needs. He doesn’t dare touch Raven because he doesn’t want to force Raven like most vampires would do ( he doesn’t like to be inconsiderate/forceful ). Gilbert waiting for Raven to be more comfortable with him but it’s taking too fucking long & just he starts to get really hungry. It fucks with his way of thinking, it fucks him over so much in many ways & he doesn’t want to go around killing people so he waits. He waits for the longest fucking time & the longer he waits, the more harder being patient gets.
But when Raven is finally okay with him & Gilbert has permission to feed off of him, he nearly kills Raven because he hasn’t eaten in a long time & almost loses control but finally forces himself to stop before he kills Raven. ( bonus, that scares Raven too fucking much & probably puts them back to square one. ) Gilbert having not eaten in a long time, he’s still hungry even after forcing himself to stop from feeding too much off of Raven. :’) he eventually gives in just this once & goes on a killing spree from waiting too long.
