… Seems like Gilbert is far worse than he thought he is. Well, if you consider what a weak drunk the Raven is, it’s no big surprise, really - there’s just this tiny little detail that Gilbert is a giant and Break looks tiny compared to him. How is he supposed to keep that tree standing when he’ll probably lean his whole weight onto him in no time or even worse, collapse on him? He’s heavy, Break would probably be forced to leave him on the floor

With a sigh, Break stares at the other man for a while, until he just pulls the strong arm further around his own shoulder, holding it there tightly, hopefully giving him enough support for them to not fall over together. Because if you pull him down with you, Raven, he’ll definitely have his revenge. And you won’t even see it coming, because you most likely won’t even remember this night tomorrow. ❝Lean on me. Heard that? Try to not black out.❞ He wonders if his words even reach the other, or if they’re just getting swallowed by that intoxicated void around Gilbert. Looks like it.

Well, this is just great. Why did he decide to help him again?

Break’s support wasn’t the best, but it was still helpful to get his unstable frame going. Spending the night on the floor sounds like a good option, matter of fact. It’d be a quick end to this hell of having no strength, no control, & extremely dulled senses. Worst case scenario right now would be if he doesn’t fall on Break, he’ll burst into tears. Hopefully neither of those moments surface.

                             Lean. That? Black out.

The words didn’t make sense to him at first, he was sure Break didn’t want him to lean. He’s aware of the risk of leaning on Break & probably falling. He goes against what’s told to him after making his mind work on the four distant words he’s heard. Don’t lean ( on? ) that. Don’t black out. These tasks were easier said than done but muscles still work to keep himself standing, a hand relying on what’s around him to lean more against than using Break. Golden optics remain focused on his feet & Break beside him ( only really being able to see from the legs down ).

Part of him wants to tell Break he can manage the rest of the way & find his room. But part of him feels like he’s a lost child & having only Break as his guide through the dark rooms. Stay.
