_{Dude imagine Vincent & Gilbert being taken back to the circus.}

_{call it an ambush they couldn’t quite fight off. They were lured to the circus, Vincent was really fucking nervous & whispering to Gilbert they need to leave. But Gilbert isn’t that aware of what’s going on, not even knowing they’re gonna approach the circus, he tells Vincent to relax & as soon as he finishes reassuring Vincent & looks ahead, the circus tent is right there in front of them. They both just freeze, staring wide eyed at the massive colorful tent. In their pov, they’re so terrified, to them, the tent looks like it’s growing over them. Looming over them just they go into this frozen panic, really alert & they try to fight off these people trying to take them back to the circus.}

_{Unfortunately they fail at escaping. They get separated. Vincent’s panicking. He’s freaking out a lot more than Gilbert is who’s trying to fight against these people putting Gilbert in chains to keep him away from Vincent. Gilbert has to watch them drag his brother away, Gilbert’s screaming for Vincent & Vincent is screaming for Gilbert. Both of them are just extremely scared, Gilbert is afraid to leave Vincent alone. the longer they keep Gilbert chained, leaving him to hear Vincent screaming somewhere in the circus, the more crazy Gilbert gets. Him being a freakishly strong guy, just yanking at the chains probably close to breaking free of them. Just. How he was when a child; this malicious child who behaved like an animal– Imagine that’s rushing back to Gilbert.}

_{Must protect Vincent, don’t take my brother, what are they doing to Vincent, must protect Vincent.}

_{Just Gilbert becoming this extremely aggressive person, not gentle anymore, not polite. Just a huge change in his personality; he snapped. He’s desperate to get back to Vincent & never let these people separate them again. But he’s tied down as soon as he breaks free, people laughing at how Gilbert’s behaving. “what an animal” “he’s so obsessive” “keep him down!” just he goes berserk. Hearing Vincent panicking somewhere isn’t helping either. They’re probably hurting him. They’re doing things to him & big brother doesn’t like it. Big brother’s gonna slaughter all of these mother fuckers. Wait til he breaks free of these chains. “where’s my brother!!!”}

_{Eventually, Gilbert’s put in a cage. So is Vincent. They’re still separated until the next day where they need to preform. Gilbert is thrown into a room, it’s dark but as soon as he’s in there he starts banging the walls, screaming, threatening, indeed he’s turned into an animal. He’s been here before, he knows how this works, he wants his brother back give him his brother back now!}

_{He calms down as soon as the cage opens that Gilbert’s in, he see’s someone being pushed into the cage with him & he recognizes the silhouette well. It’s Vincent. As soon as Vincent is released, Gilbert runs to Vincent & just holds him so close. his breathing shaky, slowly easing back to his normal self. Gilbert has his brother, he’s not letting go of him either. Ever. As soon as the curtains to their cage opens, there’s a flock of people surrounding it to see Vincent & Gilbert. Child of misfortune & a man who’s mentality is like an animal’s. Just. Nope. Gilbert just holds Vincent close to him. He puts his hand on Vincent’s head & presses him against his chest.} 

_{He’s not letting these people see Vincent. God, he’s not letting them see. He’s not going to let them make comments as soon as they see Vincent’s face. Vincent’s suffering enough right now. Vincent just quietly panicking, having a mental break down. Gilbert trying to soothe him despite this goddamn crowd around their cage. They’re adult. They’re being treated this way & it’s pissing him off. He’s protecting his brother. He’ll hurt anyone who dares to make fun of Vincent or dares to take him aware from him.} 

_{Gilbert just protecting Vincent with his life as he did when they were children & in the circus.
   He’s going to kill all of these people. Just wait.}
