This just in: GILBERT'S AFRAID OF PUSSIES—
All righty, I don’t like being a killjoy of jokes as many of you know I’m totally down for jokes. But I just wanted to clarify this as a thing I spoke about with Gilbert roleplayers in my past. I’m not sure if this is said because of his cat issue, so…–
If this is said because of cats, I need to update my ( shitty ) about page for Gilbert eventually. But I’ll put this out there now because I still get stuff about people abusing Gilbert’s ( pretty old ) fear of cats. I ignore them now, because people just do it to get what they want out of Gilbert, to get him weak. They use it as an advantage against him & they do it just to see him react frantically about it. It may be cute to others but for him, it isn’t cute. It’s terrifying & to me, it’s getting extremely dull & boring. The reactions from him would always of been the same. Don’t harass Gilbert roleplayers with cats just because their muses fear a cat. It bothers a lot of us, I had this discussion before with other Gilbert’s in my past & we all agree it’s actually a headache to put up with– It sucks, we know–
But Gilbert– at least my Gilbert, from my understanding on the one omake he was in; Gilbert’s practically over his fear of cats. He isn’t at that point that he’s screaming at the top of his lungs & running the opposite way to avoid the cat. Nah, Gil is still a little bothered by them but for what it’s worth, he can tolerate a cat now. He just needs time to adjust, because at first he’ll be ( extremely ) nervous to touch them. He’ll be fine with them at the end. So– no, Gilbert isn’t “afraid of pussies”. He’s just nervous with them. But he has it under wraps when it comes to cats.
I rambled I know, but I just felt this needed to be said. For the millionth time, even though it is my fault for not keeping his about updated & all that jazz. I don’t mean to kill the fun but like, I might as well point this out. Because I’m a lazy fuck who is horribly lazy at getting to the about ( god, that about is hella old )
