It depends on the verse? Like.. normal verse, he’d be really confused. He’d first think; “oh, like crossdressing? Is that what you mean? You crossdress??” Because– I don’t think people being trans (physically) was a thing & it was really just men crossdressing if that’s how things were gonna go in his time era. He’s never heard of trans folk in that time, so no doubt he’d be really confused. I think he’d remain confused for a while trying to process what that is, exactly.
But I think he’d get over it, all in all?Now if it were modern verse, I still think he’d be confused. But it wouldn’t last that long because that’s like.. a common thing..? I mean, come on his brother is g a y as fuck. So? I don’t think it’d phase him that much. He’d probably just stop what he’s doing, look at the muse ( of in this case; Garry ) & just sort of “huh. okay. there’s nothing wrong with that.” & just be on with his day. I don’t think Gilbert would flip out, canon Gil might just a little but not make a scene about it & just wonder how?
