“No– no, no Vincent, don’t–!” the elder was stumbling back, his hands on Vincent’s shoulder in attempt to prevent his brother from doing the inevitable. He backed up, all the way to the hallway where his brother successfully lunged at him. Sending the raven flying back with a loud ‘oof!’ & the both of them falling to the hardwood floor. Gilbert, of course, breaking his brother’s fall with his own body. The back of his head banged against the hardwood as well as his shoulders, his back didn’t suffer that much luckily. A groan escaped from Gilbert’s throat, lying on the floor in defeat & pain.
“That.. wasn’t necessary at all, Vince…” Goddamn.
