He was still being ignored. He got a glance, but that was it. He frowned, his eyes casting down at the floor. He swallowed thickly and he stepped away. “I’m sorry again…” He whispered. He bit his lip and shook his head. He didn’t like being ignored when trying to apologize but he didn’t want to get hit again. He learned his lesson the first time. Raven breathed deeply before rubbing at his neck. “I’ll leave you alone,” though he just got back, “just, know I’m…truly sorry, Gilbert. And, I don’t want to keep sounding like a broken record — but truly, I am.” Gil knows he can call him whenever needed.

Gilbert hadn’t spoken to Raven in a few days. The longer he went without speaking to the Chain, the more time he had to think things through, leading to how much more guilty he felt looking back at when Raven left. He doesn’t know if Raven came home from time to time to get things & leave or to just avoid him by staying in his room. Gilbert wasn’t sure where Raven was this time & he finally put enough thought into things to maybe talk to Raven & put this silence to an end. He sat in the living room with the thought of maybe he should text Raven & ask him to come over.
Just when he was pulling out his phone in order to write the text, he heard the door open. Gilbert immediately sat up to see Raven coming through the door. Now was the right time. Better than most, at least. “Uh..” Gilbert sits up a little more, staring at his partner a rather poor way in attempt to get his attention. Clearing his throat, he tired again. “Raven..?”

personality: gilbert is a reserved man, an introvert at its best. however, gilbert can be stern. he does have the tendency to lose his temper with people who give him back talk or are just blatantly disrespectul. he's humble, observant, courageous and clumsy. Gilbert is prone to be sarcastic yet he's easy to embarrass. he has the tendency to become worried, stressed & overwhelmed easily. he's certainly not the type to lie to people that he knows well. Gilbert's also very cautious with the people he meets. Gilbert is strongly protective of people that he holds dear.
Beneath his dark facades which apparently possess a mysterious air, Gilbert is also rather high-spirited and social around those who have been with him long enough. He takes interest in arts from stories to paintings. He's loyal, tenacious, optimistic. He's supportive of his friends around him, especially to the ones that are like family to him.
