It had been like this for quite a long time, his footsteps echoing in the empty streets together with someone else’s, and the more he walked, the more he was sure the other - the unknown - was following him. It was inevitable to stop at a certain point, still giving his back to the other, a hand quickly moving to his jacket and grabbing the knife handle. He doubted them, whoever they were, had any good intentions, and it was better to be cautious. The wolf would not be eaten.

Suppose there wasn’t a point in playing dumb. It seemed as if he’d already been caught red handed ( & was probably figured out quite a long time ago, too ). So, he’ll take a few steps closer before slowing to a stop, leaving enough space between he & the boy. Facing the younger male’s back he was showing off a pleasant smile knowing the boy couldn’t see it but he could probably hear it. He could play ᴅᴜᴍʙ. He could make this boy think he was ᴏᴠᴇʀʀᴇᴀᴄᴛɪɴɢ.
Because this world doesn’t revolve around you, kid. Just because we may so happen to cross paths with each other a little more than usual doesn’t mean he’s following you. Bᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴀᴛ’s ᴀ ʟɪᴇ, he’s pretty sure this boy wouldn’t get over himself even if he said that he wasn’t following him. But the raven will still go through with the first idea he had. A huff of laughter erupting from his throat as he brought a fist up to his chin, slowly be began to walk around the boy.

personality: gilbert is a reserved man, an introvert at its best. however, gilbert can be stern. he does have the tendency to lose his temper with people who give him back talk or are just blatantly disrespectul. he's humble, observant, courageous and clumsy. Gilbert is prone to be sarcastic yet he's easy to embarrass. he has the tendency to become worried, stressed & overwhelmed easily. he's certainly not the type to lie to people that he knows well. Gilbert's also very cautious with the people he meets. Gilbert is strongly protective of people that he holds dear.
Beneath his dark facades which apparently possess a mysterious air, Gilbert is also rather high-spirited and social around those who have been with him long enough. He takes interest in arts from stories to paintings. He's loyal, tenacious, optimistic. He's supportive of his friends around him, especially to the ones that are like family to him.
