Dark!Gil being one to lure kids/teenagers who he knows are unhappy outside. He’ll knock at their window when they’re in bed, urge them to come outside, child/teenager following that huge silhouette. Are pretty looking men a threat? Probably not! When the kid/teenager’s lured outdoors, they can see the flow of cigarette smoke, easier to track him when they sort of lost where he went; it’d be easy to lure the child because children are unaware of violence. They’re unaware of who he is, they don’t understand death/blood things people are terrified of. It’s easier. Children will probably think it’s imagination. They are most gullible. Easy to lower their guard.

Where as teenagers, he might need to put more effort in. They might know who he is. They know bad images when they see it. Some are scared really easily, some aren’t and some are confused. It’s usually tho always muses that don’t like their family that go with him. Happy to.

Gil just whispering for them to follow him. Into the cold & the quiet. Soft words of “hey..!” “over here, laughing as he sees the kids stumble in the dark over sticks & rocks. “follow me,” “c’mere.” “this way.” the crunching of leaves under his boots. flashing a smile. “this way, quickly.” luring them over, waving a hand. Over here.

& if from in the very beginning, did they refuse to come outside with him–
He’d go inside, himself & make it pretty disturbing for the youth. knocking, footsteps, watching them, making sure they know he’s watching them– finally standing in the corner, watching. His freakishly tall figure just looming in the corner, watching. If the kid decides to do the hide under the blankets, then he’ll move from the spot & move right in front of them when they pull the blanket down & take them that way. lol. fun fun fun.

Unfortunately he usually kills the kids he’s taken. He does nothing sick to them, just uses them as a threat, a trap, kills them & gets the family after. unless the kid/teen is special & actually desires to work with him then maybe mayyybe. he’ll consider leaving them alone. lol.
