what if someone successfully finally kills Gilbert? Someone unstoppable, unbeatable. Feared all over. He’s hard enough to kill as it is, 2 bullets, shit probably 5 won’t take Gilbert down that easily. It’s really fucking hard to kill Gilbert because he has a very low chance of dying over things that can typically kill people. Imagine he & Vincent go to finish someone because idk this time they have a reason to go after this person. Only this person has a little group. That isn’t a problem, he & Vincent always wipe out groups of people, fuck ur groups m8 it wont stop us.
Just they split up, as they almost always do. Kiss before they go bc it’s good luck. At first, things are perfectly fine. Everything is effortless for Vince & Gil. Gil goes to take care of the main person they’re after because he just can’t fucking wait to get revenge. Unfortunately, this person gets Gilbert so badly & by surprise that Gil’s on his last legs already. He’s struggling, he’s bleeding, he’s actually incredibly weak. To the point he hears ringing in his ears and just can’t see right because the room is spinning & he can’t process anything really but he does know he’s on the floor at one minute, but this person pins him against the wall by the neck the next minute.
Imagine Gil can’t quite get this battle. He’s still trying to fight back, but he’s getting hurt really fucking badly. Imagine he screams for Vincent who’s somewhere in this house. Screaming. Calling. He may of gotten a few punches & kicks in but he’s still not doing so good, he’s fucking screaming for Vincent to help him, save him, he’s failing right now. Vincent scrambling to get to Gilbert’s screams, frantic, because when has Gilbert ever screamed like that? Screamed for help? For Vincent??? By the time Vincent gets to him, Gilbert’s life is already slipping away.
He’s on the floor, bleeding too much, too many wounds, beaten, he’s dying this time & it’s not something he can walk off. :) He does end up dying. This person took Gilbert from him, leaving Vincent alone.
